How to calculate NACs used for trading contest on nami.trade

  • NACs used for trading contest are both the sum of free margin that you hold on your account before placing the first trading order and additional NACs that can be deposited after your first order (if any).
  • Free margin must be >= 5000 NACs by the time you start your first order.
  • Example: Trader A signs up for nami.trade contest on Nami Assistant. On July 2nd, 2018, the contest begins; current free margin is 4000 NACs with 3 opening orders.
  • Since the game started:
  • Case 1: If trader A places the first trading order while free margin is insufficient (under 5,000 NACs), this operation automatically will be considered invalid).
  • Case 2: On July 5th, 2018, trader A closes 3 opening orders but free margin remains under 5,000 NACs. If trader A starts opening a new order, then again this operation will be invalid due to insufficient free margin (under 5,000 NACs).
  • Case 3: On July 5th, 2018, trader A closes 3 opening orders and free margin now is >= 5000 NACs (5,600 NACs, for example). If trader A starts opening a new order, 5,600 NACs will be recorded as NACs used for trading contest. If trader deposits additional 4,000 NACs to his account on July 10, 9,600 NACs will be recorded as NACs used for trading contest.
  • Note: Once our system has recorded the number of NACs used for trading contest, this number will not be affected by any withdrawals.
  • For example: On July 2nd, nami.trade records 6,000 NACs for trading contest from trader B. And On July 3rd, trader B withdraws 1,000 NACs. But, nevertheless, recorded number of NACs will remain unchanged.
  • If traders buy NACs on nami.trade once our system has recorded the number of NACs used for trading contest, total NACs recorded will be recalculated and be the sum of new NACs and the old recorded ones.
  • For example: Trader A signs up for nami.trade contest on Nami Assistant. On July 2nd, 2018, the contest begins; current free margin is 4000 NACs. Trader A places the first order. At that time, 4000 NACs are recorded as the number of NACs used for trading contest. After that, trader A buys 1000 NACs directly from nami.trade system. Then total NAC used for contest will be recalculated and recorded at 5000 NACs.
  • On the other hand, for withdraw function, once our system has recorded the number of NACs used for trading contest, this number will not be affected by any withdrawals.
  • How to calculate profit in NACs?
    • Only profit from orders opened during contest time is calculated as profit for valid accounts.
    • How to calculate % profit: % profit = Total profit in NACs / Amount of NACs used for trading contest.

  • Ranking board will be updated in real-time on: https://nami.trade/contest
  • At the end of the contest, we will have an interview with the winners via online/offline channels.
  • Please note that: Nami reserves the rights to investigate, disqualify and cancel the results with traders who trade on multiple accounts and hedge their positions on a specific instrument in a specific period of time.
